I once had a best friend like that. He lived in my backyard near the pool. He was balding. My Mom said it was because he didn't have enough friends to block him from the sun.

speaking of best friends, and unlikely friend combos, did you know that Martin Sheen and Ghandi were best friends? Turns out they were frat brothers and played in a band when they were in college together.
