What's a Dream Recording?

"So, I've altered my sleep schedule in order to improve dream-recall and increase the potential for lucid dreaming.  I began by waking up every 90 minutes and attempting to transcribe what I could remember of my dreams.  I started about 8 months ago, but only recently had the idea to use a hand-held recorder and talk (often half-asleep) about what I just experienced (rather than scribbling furiously before I forget details).  Some of them are amusing, some are sad, some are frightening, some are sexy, but all are unedited stream-of-consciousness audio recordings taken during interruptions in my night's sleep.  Included with each is a brief textual summary of the dream (as the audio is often unintelligible) and a drawing/picture that represents the narrative climax of the dream.  Enjoy."
